Meet Connor!
Connor is an eight-month-old ball of love! He loves belly rubs, kisses and attention. Connor lives with his three canine and two feline foster siblings and plays nicely with all of them. During human playtime, he enjoys playing with balls and with his tug-of-war toys. His personality really shines when foster dad turns on the garden hose! He runs, jumps and barks at the water and the hose.
Connor is very friendly and doesn’t mind if you reach for his toys or water. He’s almost completely house-trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He’s also crated during the day when foster mom and dad are at work, and never puts up a fuss. He’d be a wonderful addition to any home — all he needs is a yard to play in, and someone to continue teaching him all the commands a well-behaved puppy knows!
Connor would make a great running partner, a great playmate, and a wonderful companion. His foster family guarantees anyone who meets him will immediately fall in love!

About Canine Cupids
Canine Cupids is a rescue in Milwaukee that is comprised of volunteers who have been fostering for various organizations and volunteering at our local animal control. Canine Cupids focuses on Milwaukee’s homeless dogs, but will always help a dog in need when we can — regardless of location.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
