Sundance is a sunny boy! He is super friendly and gentle. Does not seem to know what claws are for. His absolutely loving personality makes it hard to believe that he was roaming the streets and fending for himself. Apart from being on the slim side, Sundance looks very well groomed with his soft, silk-like fur. Sundance is on the timid side, but too curious to let this hold him back. He loves to explore, look out the window and play with catnip toys or string. Sundance is also very interested in other cats and gets along with them very well. Most of all, Sundance is very affectionate and bonds with his humans quickly. He is a purring lap cat. Wants to be part of the family and can’t resist being brushed or petted.

Not like a street cat at all, Sundance is meticulous with his litter box, very clean and does not scratch or claw ever. He will be a good companion for kids. Sundance is adorable and the pictures don’t do this gentle boy justice. Please come and see him rolling over and purring up a storm. Sundance will undoubtedly make an excellent, loyal, loving companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sundance, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
