My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abner is a male, Labrador retriever/Weimaraner mix. He is approx 12 - 14 months old and currently weighs 25 lbs. Abner has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, and is testing heart worm negative. We have him on all monthly preventatives. He is ready to transport to his new home at any time.
Abner arrived at our rescue as one of 5 dogs who appeared to be from the same litter, but were nearly fully grown. The dogs were all on the smaller size and just appeared to have been struggling for sometime for food and shelter. Thinning coats and rail thin bodies told the story of dogs lacking even decent food to eat. It is amazing what just a little TLC can do for them.
Abner is a wonderful guy with tall legs and a lean body. Beautiful creamy white short hair coat and wonderful floppy ears. He is fostered with his girlfriend Addie and they are great playmates. Abner is great with other dogs too and a favorite for the foster children. Abner is ready to head to his new home at any time.
