My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maverick! A 1 year old GSD / Lab mix. He is still a playful pup that knows to sit when you offer him food, and he will learn more as he settles in. He gets along with his foster's dog and follows his foster around incessantly. He could use a training course in manners on a leash and anything else to give him a good start to settling in with his new family. And, he is playful with other dogs at the dog part . . . and he's learned how to use the doggie door! The shelter tested him with cats and said he was OK. Older kids, please, as the shelter noted he can be a bit mouthy when excited

IMPORTANT . . . . . . YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION PRIOR TO REQUESTING INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OF OUR DOGS. FENCED YARD REQUIRED FOR ALL OF OUR DOGS.

The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $550 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped
