Bio Update 8/4/14 : Hi Everyone it's me Punky....I thought I should let everyone know what the dogster said after my visit. See when I went in to have those shots (ouch) and a check-up, the dogster said that she felt mammary tumors and even let my foster mommy feel them too. Well my mom went back to the rescue and told them about those tumors and the dogster suggest testing (expensive) so mommy had to get approval and the rescue said lets get the testing done. Well long story short is yes I have tumors but it revealed that I also am in the early stages of renal disease. The dogster explained to my mom that unfortunately I would visit the rainbow bridge due to the kidneys far before those tumors would catch up in growth. See the other problem is mommy really doesn't know exactly how old I am so the dogster’s estimation is 9-10 years old. Mommy said I need to be honest with people about my condition. I could have another glorious year or I could have 4-5 years of love to give. Those kidneys geezzzz....Anyways mommy is handing out treats gotta go!!

Initial Bio 06/18/14: Hi Everyone, I’m Punky the newest foster here in Michigan. My mommy had to surrender me to UYR due to her having complicated heart problems. She loved me very much but knew her health was declining. See my mom rescued me from a breeder 2 years ago and taught me how to love, run free and all the ABC’s of potty training. I’m just an itty bitty little one weighing in at 3 pounds and I’m estimated to be 8-9 years old. FM says I’m a complete sweetie that loves to sit on your lap, cuddle and give lots of kisses. I’m also completely house trained, no accidents coming from me! I get along great with my foster brothers and sister but not very fond of the cat. I go to the dogster today to get checked out and update my vaccines. My best forever home would be with no children do to my size.
