Loki's Story...
Meet Loki! She is a Coonhound mix who was tossed out as a newborn along a road with her mama and 6 siblings. Even though she got her start in an environment which was most likely not full of hugs, this kid is not holding grudges. Loki is sweet, quiet and friendly. She is very observant and takes her time both in new situations and with new people. She likes to fetch and ALMOST has the rules of the game down...she's a bit reluctant with the return :) Loki is about is about 19 weeks old (as of 8/25), is spayed and up-to-date on all appropriate vaccinations and preventives. Loki gets along with dogs, cats and is used to seeing horses. She is a good car rider and is working on her leash and house manners. Be prepared to go through full training with her. Why Adoption is a Great Option

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
