Chatilly's Story...
Chantilly is an affectionate, outgoing, energetic, playful, entertaining, and silly kitty! How you wonder could this petite little kitty with the adorable round face and big eyes be all these things at once?

Well, let's see affectionate and outgoing...Chantilly has yet to meet another person, or for that matter kitty, she hasn't liked. She is one of the most affectionate lap cats we've ever encountered. She sat in one volunteer's lap for 30 minutes happily purring and soaking up all of the love she could get. Chantilly doesn't just sit there passively either; she'll roll around, head butt you, and even touch noses with you, snuggling just as close as she can! We quickly discovered how much she loves her tummy rubbed and well, just about anything rubbed!

Now for the energetic, playful, entertaining, and silly part...Chantilly loves, and we do mean LOVES, playing with her green feather toy. We sometimes wonder if she has little springs under her paws that make her bounce so high in the air. Or maybe she is part kangaroo? It's funny seeing her spring into the air trying so hard to catch the feather. When she captures the wand, she drags it across the room and ever so faintly you hear this little growl like sound and some panting. All those leaps into the air can wear a little kitty out I guess!

Chantilly is looking forward to finding a family of her own to amuse with all of her antics. Of course in exchange she'll require lots of love and belly rubs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chatilly, a Phoenix Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
