Gisele's Story...
Hi, I’m Gisele. I may be just a baby but I’ve had a very interesting life so far. My original rescuer, Laura, saw me in an abandoned house. She was very brave and knew she had to save me so she broke in with bolt cutters, set a trap and rescued me when I was about 5 weeks old. Then Laura brought me to her friend who is a Stray Cat Blues volunteer, who gave me to my current foster mom. So I’ve been around!

As soon as my foster mom saw me, she oohed and aahed over my long gorgeous fur coat. She named me Gisele after a famous model. Besides my poufy fur, I have a super-size purr. Everyone was laughing at me at the Vet’s office because they couldn’t hear my heart beat because my purr was so loud. And no matter what they did to try to get me to stop purring, I purred louder. But the Vet was eventually able to hear my heart and I’m very healthy.

I am a tiny bit shy at first but I warm up quickly. I am playful and active and especially like to play with little mice. I will make a very special companion to a special family. I have it all – looks and personality! My date of birth is around May 24, 2014.

Gisele is spayed, litterbox trained, has received age-appropriate vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gisele, a Colmar Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
