Shane's Story...
Shane is a puppy still, he will be a year old Sept 28th. He was surrendered because he has a heart mumor. The vet assured us that Shane can live a long healthy life as long as he is taken care of properly. He is UTD on shots but will be neutered before he can be adopted. Shane is a puppy so NO he is not house trained, he will chew, so toys will be needed. He will need to be trained as most puppies do. He is a little love bug who weighs about 5 pounds. If interested in Shane please e-mail littleyorkierescue@yahoo.com

Shane is currently on medical hold until he sees the new vet to determine just how serious his condition is.

Shane will not be available until he gets a much needed surgery. Shane will need his heart operated on. We will be updating his progress

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shane, a Lorain Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Lorain, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Lorain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lorain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lorain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lorain paves the way for another one to be saved.
