Cooper is incredibly friendly and kind. He is a XL guy- but don't let that stop you from adopting him. He loves to snuggle, loves to be petted and just loves to be around you. He does great with people of all ages, with other cats and dogs too. He's laid back and very sweet. He is approx. 7-9 years young. He came to A4A after living with his person for years and becoming morbidly obese. Not only that, but he had been severely attacked by a wild animal and had incredibly bad injuries--- read his full rescue story here: http://www.advocates4animals.com/blog/morbidly-obese-cat-comes-to-a4a-enters-biggest-loser-camp-feline-edition/ Cooper was on *lots* of daily medications to heal his wounds and to take care of his ear mites and fleas, when he first entered A4A. He is making a full recovery with his many, many wounds--- his hair is growing back in over the scars and he is already down to 23 lbs (still has a way to go--- but a move in the right direction!)
Cooper is listed as "special needs" because he needs a forever home that will keep him on his weight-loss plan, so that he can live a healthy, quality life (this just requires playing with him, aka exercise--- and feeding him a specified amount of food with high-protein content).
