Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 2 1/2-year-old spayed female Chocolate Lab/Pointer mix. I weigh about 45 pounds. Playful, loving, sweet, and inquisitive are all words that one could use to describe me. I don't want to brag, but I'm pretty awesome! I was brought into a local high-kill shelter in a trap. Yes, I said trap! I didn't even know that they made traps big enough for a dog my size. I was scared and a little confused as to why I couldn't have just been walked on a leash into the shelter. Anyway, the shelter checked me in and I was taken back to the runs. Have you ever been to a city animal shelter before? Let me tell you, not a very nice place! Thankfully, I only spent about a week there before I was told that I would be heading to CageFree. I couldn't have been happier! Here at CageFree, I get to play with other dogs, which is one of my favorite things to do, and I get tons of love from all my human friends, too. I just can't think of a better way to spend my time while I'm waiting for that special someone to come along and adopt me. Do you think that could be you? I'm a pretty chill girl in general, but I would still love to go on hikes with you, take walks around the neighborhood, or visit my canine pals at the local dog park. Oh, and rumor has it that some dogs even get to go with their families to their friend's houses for BBQ's and pool parties. And that sometimes, there are even other dogs to play with. I can only imagine how much fun that would be. Do you think you would want to take me to stuff like that? I get along really well with other dogs and, although I'm a little timid with new people initially, I warm up quickly & I love every person I get to spend some quality time with, so I promise I wouldn't be any trouble. Anyway, I've rambled on enough about myself.
