My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB March 1, 2014.

Aspen is a precious little girl that was rescued with her sister Eden (adopted) from a high kill rural shelter where they spent the first few months of kittenhood stuck in a tiny metal cage. Aspen and Eden beat the odds twice, the first they survived being "black kittens" abandoned in a shelter and then as if that wasn't bad enough these adorable babies came down with terrible upper respiratory infections. They were so sick and frail. These kittens despite all of the horror that came their way; never lost hope and remained happy and loving which helped them win over the hearts of the shelter staff who worked very hard to have them rescued. Once a spot became available in one of our foster homes these desperate babies were rushed to a vet clinic where they spent a couple of nights being cared for, cleaned up and getting lots of antibiotics. Their foster family picked them up from our vet clinic a few short days later. It was love at first sight for the their new foster family. Their foster mom says at first they just stared at me as if to say "where have you been all these months".

Aspen is now perfectly healthy and gorgeous. She is ready to move on to find her very own forever family. Apsen is a funny and affectionate kitten who loves to be around her foster family and all of the cats and dogs in her home. She can also keep herself busy for hours on end by playing with her little cat nip sachets or her kitty tunnel. After a good play she is quick to find the nearest lap to curl up on for some cuddle time. Aspen loves to spend time hanging with the teenage boys in her foster family and helping them play PS3 or sitting on her foster mom's lap while she works away on the computer. Aspen uses her litter pan and scratching post with perfection. She loves her temptations treats and adores all of her furry friends in her foster home. Aspen is a very exotic looking cat. Her fur is stunning. Her black coat is thick and shiney with tabby stripes and a grey undercoat. She is very unique looking and so very pretty. Aspen is a gentle girl and will do great in any home environment where she will get a lot of attention and unconditional love.

Aspen's foster mom shares " Aspen we have a come a long from that very first day I cuddled you in my arms. You have grown into such a loving and special girl. You will forever be a part of my heart. I am so grateful to have been able to share in your rescue journey."
