Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Snoopy is an adorable Lab/Blue Heeleri mix. He's about 7-8 years old and
weighs 56 pounds. . He has a moderate to low
activity level - always happy to go for a walk, but it doesn't need to be
long and vigorous. His house manners are impeccable. We were warned to
expect house training issues, but he's been almost perfect from day one. He
never gets up on the furniture or the bed, doesn't chew or scratch anything
and has no separation anxiety. Snoopy will nap on his dog bed for at least
six hours while you're off doing non-dog things, but he's happy to go along
with you if he can and will travel calmly in the car. When you do return,
he'll be there at the door to wag you home. Snoopy has been with us about 3
weeks, and we have yet to hear him bark. He does groan with pleasure when
you scratch just the right spot though! He is sweet and devoted, following
you from room to room. Wherever you stop he'll lay on the floor a foot or
two away and keep a loving eye on you. He enjoys being petted and will
often sit tall, rest his head on your knee, and give you an adoring look.
He's well socialized, and meets new dogs and new people without drama. He's
neutral with dogs but submissive with people, all of whom he meets with a
friendly wag of the tail. Once you start petting him he will nearly always
ease onto his side, then squirm onto his back with his belly exposed and his
paws cocked. He wants attention and needs to be close, but is a little
anxious about being hugged and cuddled. Snoopy is a very easy dog to live
with - calm, quiet, no "issues", very attentive and loving. He's going to
make someone a great companion!
