Griffin's Story...
ABOUT GRIFFIN -- 16 WEEKS
Hi, I'm GRIFFIN! I'm your typical kitten .. active, playful and FUN .. and looking for a lap when I'm done. Sweet and snuggly too! I am very close to my sister Goldie -- in fact we are sleeping buddies. We would LOVE to be adopted together (but can be separated). I'd really like to have a kitty friend and playmate in my fur-ever home. I'm ok with a dog who ignores me, and well-behaved gentle kids too.

** Come see me at the Aurora PETSMART (976 S. Rt. 59, just north of Meijer), starting this Saturday 8/9, after 1:00!

** Adoption hours are 1-4:00 on weekends at all locations, or by appointment. To make an appointment or for more information, call PURRS at 630-815-4520 -- or email purrsnaperville@yahoo.com.

** All PURRS' cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLeuk tested, wormed, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Griffin, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
