Obi's Story...
Obi
11 weeks female
Black (white dot on chest)

I’m one lucky little girl and I’ll tell you why. My brother Quincy and I were saved from being drowned. We were born in a junk yard of a really mean man. He drowns any kittens that are born on his property. Lucky for me and Quincy, a kind person found us just in time and took us away from that terrible place. She bottle fed us to keep us alive. Then my SCBI foster mom took us into her home where we live with lots of other kittens and six big cats.

I’m a really happy kitten – full of life and love. My foster mom kisses me a lot because I’m such a sweet girl. I purr non-stop and walk around with happy tail. My favorite thing is to sit on her chest when she’s watching TV. The world would have missed something very special if I was not here. My brother was adopted already… it took me a little longer to get big enough to be adopted.

Now I’m all ready to go… tested, spayed, with all my shots except one distemper, and micro-chipped, too! If you want a really lovey-dovey little girl in your life – that’s me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Obi, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
