My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trigger is about 5 yrs old and weighs about 80 lbs. Trigger is an energetic, indoor/outdoor, family dog. He gets along well enough with other dogs though mostly doesn’t really care about them. He prefers people who will throw a ball for him. If you have a ball, you control him (90% of the time). The best fit for him is probably to a family who has slightly older children (5 years or older) who will play with him consistently. He loves fetching a ball, especially in a pool.

He is deferential to me as the alpha. Laid back type A – he’s not worried about being the dog in charge of the pack. He’s a people dog who wants to play. Around very small children he’ll park himself nearby. He won’t hang around for having his ears and tail tugged on but has never shown any type of inappropriate response to my little ones doing so. He just gets up and moves. The only thing to watch out for with small children around is his energy level and excitement, i.e., when he gets excited about going outdoors and he starts spinning around, maintain control so he doesn’t knock the kids over. Regular, consistent playtime/walking/discipline takes care of this for the most part.

He will be at the 6980 NORTH 5th, (North 5th & I-215 ) (NLV) Petsmart location for adoption.
