My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Weda! What a sweet little girl! Weda is a female Papillon/long-haired Chihuahua mix about 2 years old. Super soft coat. What a nice temperament she has! No way you can't fall in love.

She's good with other dogs, big and small, and she's good with kids. Also good with cats and she loves people. Loves to snuggle and sit in a nice warm lap. She weighs less than 10 pounds, so you can take her anywhere. Quiet. Calm.

She's good on a leash and great at the off-leash dog park. Loves to ride in the car. Excellent sleeping in a crate at night, but she's also great sleeping in the bed.

Weda is house-trained, microchipped, spayed and up-to-date on all her shots. She's ready for her Forever Home. Please spread the word so we can find her the perfect home!!

She found her way to us through the South LA intervention program. Weda was adopted from the Harbor shelter earlier this year. She was living with a woman who was taking care of her disabled mother. Then, she had a stroke. :( She can no longer care for her mother or the two dogs she was caring for. She turned to others for help and we're so glad she found her way to us.
