Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi..my name is Lacy. I am a beautiful silky soft lab mix (if I do say so myself). My foster mom says I look like a "real" lab & she should know. She has two. I do have a couple of brown patches that make me unique.
I am between one and two years old and weigh about 65 pounds. I am house trained and have not had even one accident at my foster home. I even learned to use the doggy door!
I was rescued in May after being hit by a car but you will be happy to know that I have made a full recovery. I love to fetch my ball and have lots of fun romping in the yard with my two big foster sisters; but I am just as happy lying around getting my belly rubbed. I also appreciate a good massage. I also love to swim as you can see in the attached You Tube video. Did I mention that I like kids and they like me too?
My foster family is so wonderful. I love them and will always be grateful. But, I am ready and waiting for a family to call my own, forever! Feel free to contact my foster mom, Alecia Clark, at 901-486-2850 if you have any questions about me.
If you would like an adoption application on Lacy, please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Lacy's adoption fee of 450.00 helps cover the cost of her spay, her vaccinations and her transport to the Midwest. Please visit and like us on Facebook. Thank you for choosing rescue!
