Nina is a lovely young lady who is thrilled about her second chance at life. Nina is a very loyal dog who wants nothing more than to be with people and would love to stay by your side. She is quite easy to please and would be happy doing almost anything as long as she is with you! Nina appreciates the little things in life. Unlike some dogs who may be picky and spoiled, Nina knows that she was rescued and shows her gratefulness daily.
Nina is great with other dogs. She is excellent on leash and has learned a few basic commands. Nina is a very smart girl so there is potential for her to learn so much more!

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
