SNOOKIE's Story...
Snookie is a darling teeny tiny little girl! She was turned into the shelter by her previous owners on 8/8/14. They reported that she is GOOD WITH KIDS and GOOD WITH OTHER ANIMALS. It appears that she wasn't well cared for as her fur was stained and in bad shape. She could use a really good solid groom and she'll sparkle like brand new! Snookie is just 2 years old and weighs a mere 6 lbs. She's the perfect little lap dog and loves to snuggle. She is current on her vaccines and upon adoption will be spayed, heartworm tested and micro chipped. Snookie's ID # is 568371 and she can be found in cage 327 in the puppy/small dog room. To know Snookie is to love her, so don't waste another moment, come meet her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SNOOKIE, a Marietta Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
