Tater Tot is a sweet, somewhat shy girl with a sad story.
Late one evening while getting a drink at a local Sonic my husband I a black kitten rummaging around the trash cans. This Sonic was at one of the busiest intersections in Plano and there was this kitten trying to survive on leftover food. We tried unsuccessfully to catch her and later went back with a trap. There ended up being four kittens - all black that had obviously been dumped. While scared they were all social and not at all feral which is what we had expected. Within minutes of being trapped Tater Tot was letting us pet her.
So Tater Tots life got better but she has to deal with being a little shy and being black. Black kitties have a super hard time getting adopted. They wait significantly longer for a home than any other color. Tater Tot has been highly socialized with other cats and has had exposure to the fosters dog. She needs to go to a home with another kitty or a kitty friendly dog. She has been good with her kitty box.
If you can give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves please complete an application today.
