JULIUS's Story...
Hi hi hi! My name is Julius and I am a 3-year old cat and I am excited to tell you more about myself. I think I got my unique name not only because I have lovely orange and white fur, but I am one quirky guy! For one thing, I love those drooling, panting cats you humans call ‘dogs’! And another, I love running water, one minute it is there and another minute it is gone! How do you humans work such magic? But don’t tell other cats these things or they might take my Cat Card away…

Before Team Cat came in, I was in a little cage, and that is no place for a boy like me! They saw that my long legs and beautiful body belonged in a home, rather than cramped in a cage. So they brought me in and I have been forever grateful! The human world is full of so many things to make into toys, beds to lay in, and most importantly things to jump on! Even though I am declawed, I love to jump up on high places and make the world my podium. I love the attention I get from an adoring human audience, especially when I make them laugh. Maybe I should look into a career as a YouTube star?

I love being in a home so much and I want to find one to call my ‘furever’ so I can give as much love to you as Team has given to me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JULIUS, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
