Carlos's Info...

Carlos's Story...
Case #10268. Carlos' family is moving and cannot take him with them. He was born in July, 2011, and would do better in a home without cats or children. It took treats, sweet-talking and a little patience for this Chiweenie to warm up to anyone but once he did, he was ready to interact with everyone. He is shy when you visit him in his cage, but he is quite sociable when he is in the small yard and loves to sit on your lap. This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is up to date with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carlos, a Slidell Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Slidell, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Slidell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Slidell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Slidell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Slidell paves the way for another one to be saved.
