UPDATE: Bubby is a super sweet, gentle, laid back golden. Once he figures out the layout of a place (since he is blind), it doesn't stop him from getting around! He does not like smooth surfaces to walk on, so a home with carpeted areas would be ideal. He loves dogs, kids and being petted. He is completely housebroken and can be left alone in the house. UPDATE: Bubby has been diagnosed with Blastomycosis( fungal infection) by UT Vet School. He is blind in both eyes and has retinal detachment in his left eye, edema and inflammation in his right eye. He will need treatment that will cost up to $1,000 to gain some or most of his sight back. Please consider giving to the Buddy fund. BACKGROUND: My name is Bubby and I'm a senior, purebred golden boy looking for a comfortable home. I wandered into a nice family's driveway, and boy am I glad I did! They called the nice folks at AGK who told me they would help find me a good home! I have limited vision so I need a safe place inside to stay. I'm a few lbs. underweight (64 lbs.) so I'll need someone to help me pack those on as well! If you're looking for a wise and handsome older fella, ask for me, Bubby!
