FLETCHER's Story...
This sweet boy is about 6 months old. He is FULL of life, loves to play, swings his head from side to side to show his joy! He loves to play but he settles nicely and quickly. He was scheduled to be euthanized twice because of lack of space but we couldn't let that happen. If ever a puppy loved life it would be Fletcher! He is so smart and eager to please but he's also a goofy little guy. Fletcher is being card for by a wonderful foster family in Tennessee. Once he has been adopted, he will travel via transport to the midwest to his new forever home. Fletcher's adoption fee of 450.00 includes his neuter, his vaccinations, microchip and transport to the midwest. For an adoption application on Fletcher please email Blues City Animal rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Please visit us and like us on facebook and THANK YOU for choosing rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FLETCHER, a Waterbury American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
