This darling girl was found wandering alone in an apartment complex after her family moved away and left her to fend for herself. It is hard to understand why someone would be so thoughtless about their beloved family pet and when we were asked to help, we simply could not refuse.

Desiree is a 1 year old, 10 pound, mix of Shih-Tzu and Yorkie. We think her beautiful ears make her look almost like a mini-Cocker Spaniel. Desiree has transitioned very well to life in her foster home. She is both crate and potty trained, gets along with other dogs as well as kids and has a playful spunky side at times. The ideal home for Desiree would be with someone who is looking for a loving, loyal companion to share their lives with.
