Cort is a male Poodle/Yorkie mix only 1 year in age. He has soft, downy curls that are non-shedding. Cort has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short haircut due to severe matting and neglect upon his arrival to our rescue. His coat will grow out in no time in beautiful creme and light apricot curls. Cort has large bunny rabbit ears which are incredibly adorable in proportion to his small, 7 pound body. He resembles a puffy little teddy bear. Cort is a quieter dog, mellow and observant of everything around him. He will no doubt be very loyal and attached to his immediate family and to those he knows well. He will come right up to you to be held and has a sweet, affectionate personality. Cort appears to have had a rough life prior to being rescued and simply wants to be loved. He is never demanding and will play gently on occasion. Cort is good with other dogs and easily gets along with everyone. He is very well-behaved in public and rides quietly in the car. Cort was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter along with his brother, Harold (also posted online). He is a healthy boy and ready for his new, loving, forever home today!
Cort’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Cort is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for his forever home.
