Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miya is a 5 year old red Shiba Inu whose owners gave her up when they had a second child and decided they didn’t have time for her. She is well-behaved and house-trained, and gets along well with other cats, dogs, and children. She loves to run after a ball outside, and has quickly learned to come when called. She will seek out attention, and follows her foster parent around to get it!
September update from Miya's foster parents: http://dcsir.org/september-foster-update-miya/
She is very loving, she has started to come and cuddle with us a lot more. We are getting a huge amount of kisses. :) She responds very well to basic training such as sit, come here, lay down, up (she knows that means I’m about to carry her), crate, etc. ..She plays a lot! she still has a lot of “puppy” in her. She loves small toys that she can hold in her mouth and throw in the air to catch it again (very cute to watch).
Please research the breed before applying for Miya. The Shiba Inu is not for everyone.
