Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Anika is a 7 year old black and tan Shiba Inu that was abandoned at the same shelter twice, when
her last family decided they could not have a dog that did not share her food nicely with the other dogs in the home. Anika is house-trained, and knows commands like sit and paw; she is generally well mannered, except for not wanting to share high-value treats. She loves to play outside and go on walks. Her current foster says she is a sweet but shy girl that needs to warm up to people; she would probably do best in a calm home as an only dog, with no other pets to try to steal the spotlight.
No cats or children please; she will need to be tested with other resident dogs.
Please research the breed before applying for Anika. The Shiba Inu is not for everyone.
