Zander's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING. Zander's owners have his littermate. Both are male dogs and Zander is more dominant and has to be the center of attention. Additionally, the family has two small toddlers and the home environment just isn't working with Zander. He needs a new home as the only pet and an adult home with no visiting small fry. Teenagers would be okay. He also needs a very dog savvy and herding dog adopter. Here is some more information. Hi my name is Zander. I am a male sable Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I love to play outside. My favorite toy is a Wubba but I will fetch anything you throw, even snowballs. I dance for treats. I prefer to be the only dog of the house. I love to be brushed and will tolerate a bath. I am very loyal and brave. I love to go on car rides, especially if it is to the farmers market. I am extremely friendly and energetic. Pre adoption application, hmck and donation apply. The donation will go to corgi rescue assisting in rehoming Zander.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zander, a Lomita Pembroke Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for sale in Lomita, or seeking a Pembroke Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Lomita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lomita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lomita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pembroke Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Pembroke Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lomita paves the way for another one to be saved.
