Brownie's Story...
Name: Brownie
Breed: Wheaton Terrier/Doxie mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Brownie is an adult male Wheaton Terrier/Doxie mix (best guess) who was finally surrendered by his owners after living chained to a tree for 4 years. He is so relieved and happy to be a house dog now, learning the house training and crated when left alone. He's a quiet guy, a little shy at first but then melts into your lap. He does like kids and other dogs, and his favorite activity is following at your heels in case you need him for anything. Brownie has had a rough start and deserves a golden finish. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Minneapolis Wheaten Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
