Baby Bear's Story...
Baby Bear is about one year old; his mama was a terrier, his papa a Cocker Spaniel. His family had to move and dropped him off with a neighbor who is the "dog lady" in her community. Baby Bear lives with lots of other dogs and cats. He is very playful and a typical high energy puppy who has never lived inside a home. His first year was spent almost exclusively outside so he is not completely house-trained yet, and he is learning how to walk on a leash. He weighs about 20 lbs., is healthy, has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, and is available for adoption OR for a foster-to-adopt situation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Bear, a Los Angeles Cocker Spaniel/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
