Blakeney's Story...
Blakeney is an adult Labrador mix looking for her forever home! She is great with other dogs & kids! Blakeney is a quiet girl with a very mellow personality. She loves to lay around with her humans, rarely barking or whining. She enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood, stopping to smell the flowers & monkey grass! Blakeney will chew on any type of bone you provide, and loves to play with her stash of toys. She is incredibly sweet & wants nothing more than to have her face or belly scratched. She is crate trained & working towards house training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blakeney, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
