Jackie O's Story...
Jackie O was born on the 4th of July weekend! She is quite a character and is such a happy pup. Mom is a purebred Lab and we are not sure of the daddy since the mom was rescued from a shelter after being picked up as a stray. However this baby looks to be a Lab/Hound mix. Jackie O and her siblings will be available for adoption on August 30th. All "meet and greets" will be scheduled for the weekend of August 23rd. In order to schedule, we must first have your application on file. For an application or more information, please contact foster4mycharlotte@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie O, a Charlotte Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
