My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Dagne. I'm a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I'm about 1 1/2 years old, and weigh about 12 pounds.
I was picked up by Animal Control in May and I heard them say I maybe having puppies. They started asking rescue groups to help me. They said I didn't belong in a shelter. Then a nice rescue lady said I could go stay in her group , have my puppies, and have a wonderful life. My puppies were born and I was fully vetted. No more trying to find a trash can to eat from! I was so scared when I came to my rescue, but I soon learned how kind people can be. I still get a little scared of new people, but never like I did before, cause I'm safe now.
Now it's time for me to find my family who will love me and care for me. I will need someone that I can feel comfortable with and be patient with me. It may take me a few days to trust you, but I promise, I'm a good girl!

I'm not around cats, so my rescuers don't know if I would get along with them or not. I also need a few days to warm up to new dogs, but not too long cause I love to play.
