Bandit is a sweet old lady who is looking for her perfect retirement home. She is a Smooth Collie/Border Collie X and is around 10 years old. Bandit is about 60lbs right now, though she is on a weight loss plan to lose a few of those pounds! She is a very low energy, laid back girl who enjoys going for short strolls around the block, and is happy to hang out in her dog bed for a good portion of the day. Bandit is very friendly and is good with other dogs, but because she is an older lady, she is not really interested in playing with other dogs and does not appreciate overly rambunctious dogs in her face. She is perfectly happy to sit on the side lines and watch those crazy young dogs play while she sun bathes.

Bandit is a cancer survivor and has recently had mammary tumours removed. Both were found to be benign and non-cancerous. The vets think due to her previous bout with Cancer that she may be at an increased risk of developing additional benign or malignant tumours so she will require periodic rechecking. She also has moderate arthritis at both elbows, but x-rays show that her hips are in really good shape!
