My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey everyone my name is Ares and I am as sweet as can be. Like my brother Atlas and Joe, I am 12 weeks old. Our dad was a Great Pyrenees, so we have the heritage to be really smart and sociable companions. I am totally adorable and cuddly. Can you believe anybody would give us up? A really nice foster mom for the Athens shelter saw a post about us on Facebook. She needed a puppy fix, and when she saw that we were in a pen outside with no shade and just had some bagged food thrown out; she scooped us up, double quick. She stopped to get us a bowl and water for the hour and a half trip, but we didn’t know what to do and dunked our heads. Then she noticed we had no teeth, so we went to a vet who confirmed we were only three weeks old and needed to be bottle fed. She did that and then got us to drink from a bowl, proceeding to puppy mash, canned food and then, dry food. Now we’re all ready to each find our own forever home! Do you want a companion to spend time with and teach me all my doggie manners? How about playing with me till we both have had our fill, and then we are happy to lounge around and enjoy the best things in life (each other)? The folks at AGB said I would be adopted really fast - I hope it’s true. Love and kisses Ares
