My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SMOKY is a 7 month old black male Lab who weighs 43 pounds (still growing)! He's an adorable little boy who got a bad deal. His owner would let him run loose and then get mad when he did a little trash diving and made the neighbors mad - bad humans! It's OK though because he is with us now - on to a happy life! He is keeping his run clean at the vet, even overnight. He is super snuggly and happy. He is good with other dogs, loves to ride and is good on leash, minus a little meandering now and then - nosy boy! He's approved for kids aged 8+.

Foster update (8/26): Smoky is doing great at his foster! He loves to play and gets along with everyone! He is quiet and good in his crate and is housebroken. He doesn't know a lot but is a quick learner and wants to please so training should be easy. Come see this sweet boy!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
