Tiny Tory's Story...
Tiny Tory is a tiny, sweet, affectionate and petite female, seven-year-old, seven-pound, black Maine Coon-mix cat looking for a loving guardian.

Tory is a mellow, talkative and loving cat who enjoys being brushed and snuggling in your lap. She is great with being held as well. She is living in a foster home where she gets along with all the other cats, but her true love is people. When she’s happy, she rolls on her back and puts her paws in the air. She just purrs and purrs happily.

She’s also playful with wine corks, feather wands and crinkle balls. She has excellent litter box habits and since she was very skinny when she was rescued, she is making up for it by eating a lot!

To meet and adopt her Please contact Rebecca at rsmonson@hotmail.com or phone/text her at 312-523-9246. She is healthy, de-wormed, spayed, virus-tested negative, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Tory has all her claws and lets you trim them. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny Tory, a Chicago Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
