My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmy can easily be described as a live wire. This 3 lb. 3-4 month old Chihuahua mix girl is a bundle of energy. She was found in a driveway all alone when she was very tiny. Nothing is known about her parents. Our foster was contacted and she took Emmy right on home with her. In her foster home, she lives with a very large, (90 lb.) very gentle, long haired foster dog brother. She swings from his tail when he walks, bites his face and ears when he lays down and sleeps on him when she finally gets tired. Cats live there as well. She considers them playmates too. Emmy sleeps in her crate at night and stays in it when her foster mom is at work. When her family is home, she is free in the house and loves to play with her squeaky toys. She is doing well with house training. The other dog in the home has an electronic collar. She goes out with him and does not leave his side. Leash training is a work in progress. Emmy is looking for a home that can accommodate a very busy girl. Older children would be best, since younger ones might not understand that Emmy could be hurt if they squeeze too tight. Other dogs and cats are fine also, just remember she does not meet a stranger, and they may need a little time to get used to her. Emmy is a happy, energetic little lady looking for her forever home. She will be a wonderful companion. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
