Cayla's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cayla's Story...
The "C" litter came from a high kill shelter in Kentucky. They were 1 week old when they made it to UAR. We have watched them grow into amazing little wiggly pups and can't wait to see them go to their furever homes. They are up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, have 30 days of pet insurance and come with a voucher for their spay/neuter surgery when they get a little older. Adoption fee: $350 cash only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cayla, a Chicago Basset Hound/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
