My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Feather is a year-old Papillon mix (possibly mixed with spaniel). She has soft fur, a feathery tail, and freckles - a real cutie. She is a quiet little girl looking for a lap to call her own. Any size lap will do, as she weighs only 10 pounds and doesn't take up much space.

Feather is a bit shy at adoption events and is likely to snuggle into someone's arms for security, especially when a big dog wants to say hello. In her foster home she is starting to join in the chase part of games with the other small foster dog, but otherwise she doesn't seem to know how to play. She would prefer to be in a home with calm dogs, but would also be happy to be your one and only. Her foster mom thinks she would be okay with gentle older children.

Leash walking is a new experience for her and she seems most comfortable with a harness.
