Star's Story...
Star is an attractive, 1-2 year old short haired terrier who weighs 23 pounds. She was found lost with no identification on her and the previous owner could not be located. Star tested negative for heartworms. Star has been vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and vet checked. She lights up around people and hopes a new family will soon invite her to join their family. Star walks on a leash and is crate trained. Her animated, energetic personality is suitable for agility prospect, frisbee catcher, running partner, or playmate to run in the yard with the family. Email petsavernc@bellsout.net for an application for Star.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Chapel Hill Manchester Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Manchester Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) breeders who help with Manchester Terrier/Fox Terrier (Smooth) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
