This is April, but we saved her in August from a high kill shelter in the South. April is now being locally fostered. She loves other dogs and is fine with cats too! She is very sweet..shy at first, but extremely loving once she feels comfortable. She is a gentle girl who would be fine for a family with respectful children. She wants to be with her family, she stays close by. She loves her toys and to play with her fosters dog. Loves walks and car rides and exploring the world around her. She is smart, she progressed on the house training in less than a weeks time to no accidents in the last few days. She knows her name and sits for a treat. She is eager to please. She sleeps the night in the crate without peeping until her foster mom gets her first thing in the morning to go out. She came out of quarantine with some missing fur but home life and grain free food suits her well as the fur has almost completely filled in. We believe it was poor nutrition and stress as all test were negative for mites, etc. She is a gem and her foster mom and dad are going to miss her! A great family dog. Please note: We can only foster or adopt in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire
