My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. Jessa is the kind of pup who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her tiny head on your shoulder. She's so new and fresh with every possibility open to her. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Kansas rescuer in saving Jessa and her shelter mates...she could see that all their temperaments were so sweet and calm that she couldn't allow any of them to be euthanized. Jessa was immediately brought to be vetted and was brought to a great Houston foster home to receive pure love and begin her education and socialization. It turns out that Jessa,at only 8 weeks old and 3 or so lbs (will get exact weight shortly) is the chunkiest and appears to be the wisest of the pups. She is expected to be approximately 10-12 lbs when full-grown. She is very calm and so very engaging (particularly after a bit of cuddling) that it's become a fun and rewarding experience for her foster mom. Jessa is cute as a button and so silly. She is like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around her. If Jessa continues this regiment of socialization that promote positive relationships with other dogs and bonding with humans...Jessa will become a well-adjusted and pleasant adult companion. She is a gorgeous Schnauzer mix puppy with the cutest markings ever and a shining coat that speaks of puppyish good health. Jessa's calm yet silly demeanor is just who she is...she just appears to be more entertaining than your average puppy. If she is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Jessa will become a well-adjusted girl who respects her people as her leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for this sweet and cuddly girl. We also feel it's very important that she is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. She would be overjoyed with walks along Colorado paths and enjoying the sunshine. We'd like a family who spends lots of time at home and chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Jessa can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore accompany her family just about anywhere. Jessa will be arriving in Denver unfixed due to her very young age...Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to her spay, microchip and any additional puppy shots she might require if one of our vets is used. Jessa appears to be a non-shedding girl.. lots of sudsy baths and serious brushing combined with great nutrition will keep this puppy's coat healthy and silky-soft.
Jessa will arrive on transport in Denver in mid-August. If interested in this adorable and sweet puppy, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
