My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 2 year old registered German Shepherd. This is from Max's owner who is needing to re-home him: Max was neutered at 6 months old, he also is up to date on shots and heartworm prevention. We have cats and he got along well with them. He sometimes would chase them, but never was aggressive towards them at all. He also gets along well with other dogs as long as they are non aggressive. He plays with our neighbors dog well, but there is a pit bull in our neighborhood that comes into our yard every now and then, and he is not welcome. Max is very protective of my children. He is wonderful playing with them, never any sign of aggression or even any nipping, however he does not like other children to be around them. I would recommend Max go to an adult home that has fenced in yard or a very rural farm like area. I would not recommend a home with children, lest they have the same issues. Hopefully to someone who has had a Shepherd as they are very strong willed. He has been through 1st level obedience training and would do fantastic with a person who has lots of time to devote to him.
