Martha is precious. She was born on May 25, 2014. She loves to play in her private cardboard box house. You don't see her but you can see the whole house shake! She is doing excellent in her enrichment class and we expect her to develop a solid bond with whomever brings her home.

The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904 to protect the city's working horses. Today, its clinic and Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center looks after the health and emotional well-being of every adoption animal.

HSNY is a non-kill shelter. Every animal is micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and they offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. Our one and only location is: 306 East 59th Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues) in Manhattan. Our adoption hours are 10:30AM - 4:00PM, 7 days a week.
