Ocean's Story...
Meow my name is Ocean- named for my beautiful blue eyes, I'm an 11 year old small domestic long hair white cat. I have been declawed so I must be an inside cat. I have some missing teeth so I prefer to eat soft food. I'm spayed and up to date on my shots and looking for my forever home. I like people and other cats but not dogs.If you'd like to apply please email Poochesandpurrs1@gmail.com and ask for a KITTY SPECIFIC application! Our auto response is geared toward dogs and the one you get back initially wont be accurate for a cute kitty like me. We can't wait to hear from you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ocean, a Albany Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Albany, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
