Why Hello! My name is Annie. You may have seen me on the news this morning, on WDIV as the adoptable pet of the day. Did I do okay on camera? They say it adds on 10lbs…but I think I still looked pretty dainty and lady like. As you can imagine, I was pretty nervous. Luckily, they were really nice there and snuck me some treats just before my big debut!
Well, to tell you a bit about myself, I’m a very loving, gentle poodle mix. I’m under 12lbs, and am mostly white with a hint of apricot in my coat. I can’t wait for it to be fluffy and full again. You see, I was recently taken in from a shelter, and was very itchy and matted. Luckily, my friends at NBS Animal Rescue took me to the groomer, and got me all cleaned up and feeling good. Oh, then I went to the vet to get spayed, up to date on my vaccinations and am all set with a clean bill of health!
Aside from being a sweet, healthy girl I’m also 4 years old. Even though I’m young, I’m very well behaved, potty trained, and do wonderful on a leash. If possible, I’d prefer a home with out children under 8, as their sudden movements make me a little nervous. Other than that, I’m pretty easy going. Of course, I enjoy going for walks and soaking up attention wherever I can get it. As you might imagine, I would be pleased as punch to be your lap dog. I should probably tell you now that I’m the best snuggler in the world – and I won’t move a muscle or make a peep if you let me in the bed…just sayin!

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
