Our policy is to reserve the cat-trainable dogs for those homes that truly require them. If you have no small animals, you will need to adopt a dog that is not deemed small animal trainable.
Alicia is a sweet, friendly girl. She tends to have a confident, independent personality, but she does love attention. She seems to enjoy spending time outside if given the opportunity. She interacted well with the other greyhounds. Alicia responded well when meeting Jack Russell Terriers, but caution should always be exercised with smaller animals, especially outdoors.
Foster Home Update: Hi- I’m Alicia! I’m a four-year-old black greyhound. My hobbies include sleeping, throwing my toys in the air, and sleeping. If I were a person in high school, I’d be on the cheer squad because I am always happy and love to wiggle when I see people I like. Go SEAHAWKS! I would do just fine in a house with a small yard, as long as you give me some squeaky toys to play with. I am fine on hardwood floors, love my doggie door, and am an excellent companion for cats. Other dogs are fine by me, too, as long as they are not super little. Little dogs confuse me, and I get overly obsessed with them. My ideal home would have a soft bed (have I mentioned that I like to sleep?), a person who adores me, and treats. I prefer cheese to milk bones (but not too much!), and I love to snuggle up to you and get as many pets as I can. If you forget to pet me as I walk by, I will gently bump your hand to remind you.
